Stress and Poco-poco

It's been a while I didn't have a chance to update my blog, a week I guess. Well plenty of works need to be done in a short period perhaps less than a month. Arghhhh. I need to stay calm and relax, think rationale and insyaallah the work will be done smoothly and coordinately. How about listening to music or dancing to release my stress? Yeap. How about poco-poco? Have anyone out there try this dancing before? Poco-poco is a dancing from Indonesia if I'm not mistaken. It is a popular dancing in Perlis and I've learned poco-poco from this state too. Refresh the memory back in Arau, five years ago. Well, poco-poco is a simple dancing which u need to know the step and move your body effortlessly follow-by the music which named Poco-poco. More over, this dancing is much similar with Archy Breaky Heart dancing. What makes the different is, one is dangdut (Malay) and the other is classic rock (English). If I got the chance to find out the video of this dancing I would upload it here, in my blog. Maybe some other times. Let's poco-poco, to release the level of my streSS.

KrumpinG

Krumping is an urban street dance form that began in South Central Los Angeles. It is characterized by free, expressive, and highly energetic moves involving the arms and chest, and has become a major part of hip hop dance culture alongside other forms, such as breaking, popping, locking and freestyling. Krump is a relatively new dance-form. Like other styles of dance, Krump is seen by many as a faith-based art-form. Accordingly, many of its pioneers spell Krump as an acronym (K.R.U.M.P.), which stands for Kingdom Radically Uplifted Mighty Praise.Like all forms of street dance, hip hop music is the predominant type used for krump. Although many credit the originator of BUCK music to a group called THA J SQUAD, who continue to Produce "tracks" that have influenced how Krump has turned out to be. The orginator of Krump, Tight Eyez, also produced a few albums that promotes the spirituality of the dance. The style of hip hop is an essential factor in krump dancing, music sets the tone, tempo and mood of the dance "battle." The music is usually upbeat and aggressively lyricized, although music is often modified to remove lyrics creating "instrumentals."

"Line Dancing" are for the Aunties???

Line Dancing? Have you ever heard about it? Basically, Line Dancing is refer to the oldies especially Chinese lady who love to dance in a group of their age. It was called line dancing because the dancers will perform a line accordingly and the instructor will guide the dancers from the front. Moreover, line dancing has many steps of dancing for example the cha-cha, twist, shake, etc. Well I used to learned line dancing before and I find it very interesting. I still remember how to dance cha-cha using J lo music, Lets Get Loud, The Shake and not forgotten the Archy Breaky Heart songs. Usually, the Aunties a.k.a housewives like to dance line dancing because they feel enjoyable spending their time dancing with a group of friends. That's why this type of dancing will always referred to the aunties. Before I end up typing my blog for today, just a reminder that dancing is a satisfaction for myself and maybe others. Try to move your body peeps.

Hey Hey Oh...
Hey Hey Oh...

Its you and me moving
At the speed of light into eternity yer,
Tonight is the night that you
Join me in the middle of ecstasy,
Feel the melody in the rhythm of the
Music around you, around you
Ima take you there, Ima take you there
So no longer be sacred,
Then im right here baby
We can go anywhere, go anywhere
But first its yo chance,
Take my hand come with me

Its like i've waited my whole life for
This one night it's gon' be me you and
The dance floor cause
We've only got one life
Double your pleasure
Double your fun and dance
Forever (ever, ever)
Forever (ever, ever)
Forever (ever, ever)
Forever girl forever
Forever (ever, ever)
Forever (ever, ever)
Forever (ever, ever)
Forever on the dance floor

Feels like we're on another level
Feels like our loves intertwined,
We can be two rebels breaking the
Rules me and you, you and I
All you got to do is watch me
Look what i can do with my feet
Baby feel the beat intide,
Im hoping you can take the front seat
Just need you to trust me
Ohh Ahh Ohh
It's like!

Its like i've waited my whole life for
This one night it's gon' be me you and
The dance floor cause
We've only got one life
Double your pleasure
Double your fun and dance
Forever (ever, ever)

Forever (ever, ever)
Forever girl forever
Forever (ever, ever)

Forever on the dance floor

It's a long way down,
It's so high of the ground,
Sent me for an angel
To bring me high,
Girl where did you come from
Got me so undone,
Gazing in your eyes got me
Singing what a beautiful lady
No if buts or maybe's
Release in my heart and
Its feeling amazing
There's no one else that
Matters you love me and i wont
Let you fall girl
Let you fall girl Ohh
AOhh AOhh Ye Yer

Kekuatan kaki untuk twist and turn the leg. Dia seorang yang sangat aktif dengan tarian ini dan kami menggelarnya the king of shuffle a.k.a Wadi. Jangan marah ye Wadi. Shuffle dengan muzik rave tidak dapat dipisahkan. Jika ada kesempatan, saya akan mendalami lagi tentang tarian yang agak pelik ini di kemudian hari.

Zapin vs Capoeira

If i have a chance to learn dancing i would probably choose zapin or either capoeira. Zapin?Capoeira?Well zapin is a traditional dancing from Johor which have a unique body movement especially the head. I am so curious and excited about zapin when the dancers started to budge their head which is so interesting for me to learn it one day, i guess. In the old days, only males were allowed to perform but nowadays, female dancers are included. It used to be performed exclusively for religious ceremonies but through the years it has become a form of traditional entertainment, hence the participation of female dancers are allowed. The dancers usually perform in pairs and are accompanied by a traditional music ensemble normally consists of the gambus, accordion, violin, marwas (bongos), rebana (drum) and dok.

How should i describe capoeira?Basically capoeira "A dance like a fight, a fight like a dance, a song... a way of life" is a blend of martial art, game and dance originated in Brazil. The art-form started up in Brazil during the 16th Century, an obvious result of the slave trading that took place in conjunction with the previously slaved native Indians. Capoeira was created and developed by slaves brought from Africa. Participants form a roda (circle) and take turns playing instruments, singing and sparring in pairs in the center of the circle. The game is marked by fluid acrobatic play, feints and extensive use of groundwork, as well as sweeps, kicks and headbutss. Less frequently-used techniques include elbow-strikes, slaps, punches and body-throws.
